In 2018, total world crude steel production was 1808.6 million tonnes (Mt). The biggest steel producing country is currently China, which accounted for 51.3% of world steel production in 2018.
WESTERN CLARKS EXPORT CORPORATION LTD, in 2019, began to produce Galvanized Steel, with agreements and contracts made with Asian (especially Chinese) companies, which provided for the production and export of over 3k tons of steel over a commercial year.
Now with the virus and the negative impact it is giving to the global economy, WESTERN STEEL has currently blocked the sale of steel to all continents – for lack of manpower in the Chinese steel furnaces.
The CEO, Lorenzo De Donato, is providing for the acquisition of over 1k new steel companies to face the current loss suffered.
“In 2021 we will be the largest exporters of steel, with over a thousand companies and an expected turnover of US $ 190M, obviously, promising market …”
Lorenzo De Donato – CEO of WESTERN STEEL EXPORT
In 2008, 2009, 2015 and 2016 output fell in the majority of steel-producing countries as a result of the global recession.
In 2010 and 2017, it started to rise again.
