The Last of Us Producer uncovers episode count for HBO series

What initially began as talk has now become a reality. HBO has started recording The Last of Us TV series and fans truly anticipate this show. The show’s Writer and Producer Craig Mazin affirmed that there will be 10 episodes coming out for the HBO Max show’s first season.
Fans of Naughty Dog’s hugely popular survival horror game are in for a treat. The TV series will run for an hour every episode, acquiring a total of ten hours for the whole season. Nothing has been affirmed at this point in regards to whether the first season would tell the whole story of The Last of Us Part One.
The show will have five teaming up directors working on the episodes. Up until this point, Mazin affirmed three of the directors dealing with the show, while the other two are not yet declared. These directors are specifically Ali Abbasi (Border), Kantemir Balagov (Beanpole), and Jasmila Zbanic (Quo Vadis, Aida?).
The Last of Us’ TV adaptation was first declared by HBO back in March 2020. We didn’t will hear a great deal about the show over the previous year, generally because of the pandemic. However, news about the TV show has begun to surface more throughout the last couple of months.
Just recently, Gabriel Luna, who will star as Joel’s brother Tommy, posted on Instagram a groupie photograph of him close by some of his co-stars. This photograph of the stars on-set affirms that shooting is in progress and the show could preview very soon. A few sources say that The Last of Us on HBO will release later this year, however we have a strong feeling that it will come out at some point early-mid 2022.
