Public tours of the White House will continue a full operating schedule on July 19 for the first time since they were suspended in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the White House declared Monday.
Limited tours through the White House continued recently on Fridays and Saturdays yet will be offered Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET, barring government holidays, under the full operating schedule. The tours are free to the public in general and can be planned through the office of a member of Congress.
The White House says it will keep on checking Covid-19 and work in light of guidance given by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Face masks are not presently needed for the tours.
