The song “Perspolis” is one of the most well-known sports songs in the country.

This work was produced upon the request of Perspolis Cultural and Sports Club in Tehran and Mr. Hamidreza Gharshasbi, the CEO at that time, to commemorate Perspolis historic first appearance in the AFC Champions League final. It was released on November 9, 2018, one day before the second-leg final match between Perspolis of Iran and Kashima Antlers of Japan and was broadcast on a special program in the 20:30 news on television.

Reza Tootoonchi is the lyricist and composer of “Perspolis.”

The vocal performance of this piece was done by the “Aria” team led by Farshid Aria, and the mixing and mastering of this track were also handled by him.

He also announced the satisfying feedback received for this work and his special program, along with his old friend and colleague Reza Tootoonchi, for creating and producing music for the Iranian national football team coinciding with the start of the AFC Asian Cup competitions.
