It’s difficult to break into the music industry, but even in 2020, it’s not impossible. In Orange County, California, the scene is ever evolving, bringing in new talent all the time. BLEAM is the creation of DJ Ryan Eshaghi, and he’s recently come into serious success in the industry.
BLEAM creates songs that incorporate upbeat basslines, captivating storytelling, and strong drums. His second single “Antigua” got high streaming numbers upon release, and was selected by Spotify for their “Friday Cratediggers” playlist. From there, he released the single “Soul Searching” with Mixmash records, which has worked with artists like Avicii, Steve Angelo, and Afrojack. In 2020, he got 460,00+ streams on Spotify from 211,500 unique streamers in 92 different countries. In October, he signed with Do Not Duplicate Recordings and released his much-anticipated track “Freak Show.” He had two Beatport charting singles and multiple iTunes 100 dance releases this year, and we are sure he can continue the trajectory into 2021. “It still blows me away that people from all over the world message me about my music,” BLEAM said. “I can’t wait to see some of the new fans on the dancefloor next year and release a bunch more.”
While BLEAM has always had a passion for music, he didn’t get involved on the scene right away. “My parents always encouraged me to work hard and follow my dreams. I just had to figure out what my dreams were first.” He started to DJ in Orange County, but once he developed the BLEAM persona, his music really took off. The name BLEAM came from his interest in tech, and it means to transmit data between sources in the technical world. “I want to bring my interest in tech into my music at some point. It’s one of my biggest passions, and I think it can be a big part of how BLEAM grows.” His first big break was at Summerlands Music Festival, where he performed in front of over 4,000 people. “I was a bit nervous at first, but after a while, the confidence started to kick in, and it felt like just another day practicing at home. I just feel really grateful that I was awarded that opportunity, and I got to make some great new friends that day who love house music just as much as I do.”
You can stream BLEAM’s music on Spotify or your preferred music platform. His grooves will captivate and take you on an amazing journey without having to leave your home.
