The firm that created ChatGPT, OpenAI, has announced that applications are now being accepted for Converge 2, the second cohort of its six-week program for outstanding engineers, designers, researchers, and product builders who want to rethink industries and products through the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
Converge, which OpenAI launched in December 2022, was designed to help firms at the vanguard of AI development grow faster.
Two fundamental ideas served as the foundation for the Startup Fund, according to report by OpenAI. First, a new generation of disruptive startups will emerge from new and potent AI systems. Furthermore, these new businesses will be crucial in enabling AI to enhance human creativity and intelligence.
“Together through tech talks, office hours, social events, and conversations with leading practitioners, we’ll explore the most important opportunities and challenges of building at the cutting edge of AI. In addition, participants will receive a $1 million investment from the OpenAI Startup Fund and join our community of builders.”
“Founders from all backgrounds, disciplines, and experience levels are encouraged to apply. Prior experience working with AI systems is not required. We’re excited to hear from founders from underrepresented backgrounds and those based outside the United States.”
