In 2023, Bill Cosby wants to go back on tour. During a surprise radio interview with host Scott Spears on “WGH Talk” on December 28, the controversial comedian stated that. When asked if he might be able to tour again in 2023, Cosby responded, “Yes.”
In April 2018, Cosby, who is now 85 years old, was found guilty of a criminal gender assault charge in Pennsylvania. After the state Supreme Court overturned his conviction, he was freed in 2021 after serving nearly three years in prison.
“When I come out of this, I feel that I will be able to perform and be the Bill Cosby that my audience knows me to be,” Cosby told Spears.
Responding to Spears’ question about whether 2023 might be a touring year, Cosby responded, “Yes. Yes, because there’s so much fun to be had in this storytelling that I do. Years ago, maybe 10 years ago, I found it was better to say it after I write it.”
Andrew Wyatt, Cosby’s agent, confirmed that the comedian is “looking at spring/summer to start touring.”
