The Inter-American Development Bank and Meta collaborated to create the Metaverse Communities Award, which went to the Chilean firm.
The Chilean startup Enverse, which specializes in building hyper-realistic metaverses in architecture, grew significantly by 300% in the last semester of 2023 and attracted fifty thousand users.
They competed against over 100 countries and 200 cities worldwide, and their accomplishment won them the title of “Discover LATAM’s fastest-growing startups FI50” from the Founder Institute in Silicon Valley.
Leading the metaverse’s progress, Enverse works with architects and urban planners to provide the groundwork for the surroundings that people will live in starting in 2030.
Enverse suggests, in a novel way, that architects and Enverse urban planners, rather than video game creators, create hyper-realistic metaverses.
The organization is in favor of using lessons learnt from the design of real-world locations to reimagine crucial features—like traditional structural elements and architectural details—that are not required in virtual surroundings.
“In one year, we managed to develop projects in 10 countries, and today we have a presence in markets across Latin America, Europe, and Asia. I believe the success lies in specializing in the retail and health segments, understanding that’s where the greatest opportunities are,” highlighted Francisco Espinoza, CEO of Enverse.
Furthermore, Enverse expands its reach into the healthcare industry with its latest project, Medical E-Learning.
It joined together with two other businesses to create digital twins of medical conferences and courses, making it the only Chilean startup to receive an award from the Silicon Valley Founder Institute.
By reaching as many clinicians as possible in Latin America, this approach hopes to provide vital medical updates to individuals who are unable to physically attend medical gatherings.
Enverse and Medical E-Learning are planning to launch a $5 million funding round in February 2024.
With a focus on strengthening the company’s commercial standing in Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil, this funding attempts to expand the company’s teams, streamline its regional presence, and improve its operations.
Enverse has won the trust of clients like Decathlon, SwissContact, Mall Plaza (Falabella group), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and Bolivia, Peru, Brazil, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Paraguay, Colombia, Venezuela, and the United States, among others, with offices and representations in these and other countries.
