French AI Startup Omi Raises €13 Million in Series A Funding

Omi, a Paris-based AI-powered visual generating business, revealed Monday that it had raised €13 million in a Series A fundraising round headed by Dawn Capital.

Other investors took involved, including Founders Future and angel investors such as Paul Robson, former international president of Adobe.

The French company plans to use the capital to expedite product development and go-to-market strategies, particularly in the United States.

Omi: AI-Powered Visual Generation

Hugo Borensztein and Paul Borensztein created Omi in 2020, a firm that offers a platform to help businesses and brands create 3D visual assets.

The company achieves this by integrating third-party GenAI models with its own technology.

The company currently works with over 1,000 brands, including Clarins, Nestle, and Meta.

An investor

Dawn has collected more than $2 billion from top worldwide investors since its foundation to invest in best-in-class European B2B software.

Dawn is an early-stage investor who supports startups from Series A and B and continues to fund the best performers through expansion rounds till exit.

The business has invested in over 80 category-leading firms launched in 16 European nations, including multibillion-dollar leaders Mimecast, iZettle, Tink, LeanIX, and currently established unicorns Collibra, Dataiku, and Quantexa.
