Google’s Gemini AI-powered Vids software, which enables you to make video presentations with a prompt, is being widely released. Allowing Gemini to automatically incorporate stock footage for you, creating a screenplay, and creating AI voiceovers so you don’t have to speak are some of Vids’ primary capabilities. Google promotes the tool’s ability to assist in creating training films, sharing company news, creating meeting recaps, and turning customer support articles into videos.
For Workspace businesses that have access, Vids will be available by default; however, Google cautions that starting in 2026, services like “Help me create” and AI voiceovers may have usage restrictions.
Vids, which was first made public in April, allows you to create a presentation video for your colleagues by importing pertinent documents, slides, voiceovers, and video recordings into the timeline of the program. Although the app is multilingual, AI features like the read-along teleprompter and “Help me create” are currently only available in English. The Vids distribution period started on November 7th, and some users may not see it for more than 15 days.
