You can share your status with only a select few people, just as you can hide it from certain individuals. You can post a status with your closest friends only, for instance, if you’re throwing a party and only want to invite them. Here’s how:

• Navigate to the Status tab after opening WhatsApp.
• Select “Status privacy.”
• The “Only share with” option should be selected.
• Select the contacts with whom you wish to update your status.
• Click the checkmark button to confirm that your changes have been saved.
