A creator of seats, arm rests and set out rests toward Kia and Hyundai plans to contribute $24 million and recruit 100 individuals in Coweta Province, Gov. Brian Kemp announed Nov. 1.
Hyundai Modern Co. Ltd. is the most recent in march of providers coming to Georgia. Like others, it intends to serve both the extending Kia plant in West Point and Hyundai’s Metaplant under development close to Savannah.
“With Kia in West Georgia and Hyundai on the eastern coast, suppliers like Hyundai Industrial can locate almost anywhere in the state and still be center of at least two major manufacturers,” Georgia Division of Financial Improvement Chief Pat Wilson said in a news discharge.
Situated in Ulsan, South Korea, Hyundai Modern will enter the U.S. through an auxiliary, HDI America Inc., which has bought a current structure at 83 Amlajack Way close to Highway 85.
Laid out in 1978, the parent organization works two plants in Korea and two in China, with 174 all out representatives and yearly incomes of 264 billion Korean won, or about $200 million, as per its site.
Group Pioneer Woosuck Kim said the organization is “excited to be part of the e-mobility transition happening in Georgia.”
