The fact that smartphone prices have increased significantly in recent years, particularly for flagship models, is no secret. It is not unusual to pay more than $1000 for a smartphone these days, especially if you use Apple.
The Cupertino-based company is said to be working on an iPhone subscription service that would make it easier for customers to afford Apple’s most recent and greatest products. Even though progress in that area has been sluggish, the business is still doing well.
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg says that the show “should still arrive eventually.” In the most recent issue of his Power On newsletter, the prominent Apple analyst shared his thoughts in this manner. According to Gurman, the iPhone subscription service was planned to launch in 2022 or 2023.
In point of fact, he asserts, Apple’s intention was for the scheme to debut alongside the iPhone 14 lineup in September of last year. Apple is still working through a number of obstacles that prevent it from becoming a true FinTech giant, which is the cause of the delays.
It should be noted that Apple’s iPhones will soon be even more expensive than they are now. The price of the iPhone 14 lineup, and more specifically the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, were the subject of numerous rumors in the previous year.
Additionally, consumers are more interested in the more expensive high-end models, while sales of the less expensive iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are significantly lower. Apple has acknowledged this preference for high-end gadgets and may attempt to address it with an iPhone 15 Ultra.
The price of the latter will easily exceed $1,200. However, it is unknown how much Apple will cost you each month. Apple will provide expensive devices as long as users desire them.
