Larry Hryb, Xbox ‘Major Nelson,’ is leaving Microsoft

Today, Larry Hryb, better known in Xbox circles as “Major Nelson,” tweeted that he is leaving Microsoft. Hryb spent numerous years as one of the most conspicuous public countenances of the brand as Head of Programming for Xbox Live. Hryb joined Microsoft in 2001 and held the position of editor-in-chief of MSN Music for more than two decades.
