In this article, we will introduce some practical methods in reading high notes.
Number 1: Correct is the first step to reach the top notes
He must say that the passage of air vibrates the vocal cords. Therefore, proper breathing is the basis of reading. If there is too much air passing through the vocal cords while reading, it will be a problem. Also, if the air passage is low, other problems will arise. So it is very important. Which improved day by day with breathing exercises. Diaphragm breathing can be an important aid in reading high notes and increasing your vocal range. Remember that high notes need self-support, and this is only possible with proper security.
Reading high notes does not require more or less air, it requires the right answer and breath support.
Number 2: Self support
Do the breathing exercises that we have put on the site for you every day. The diaphragm is becoming more open and stronger day by day. The stronger the diaphragm, the stronger your breath. Powerful breath can illuminate the heavy heavy notes in your resonant space. So do breathing exercises every day.
High notes require diaphragm strength and breath strength. Note that shortness of breath does not mean expelling excess air.
Number 3: Your voice should be in the lower notes
Learning to read high notes is very slow and time consuming. When you still have to read the notes down. The notes in the middle range of your voice are weak, how do you want to read the above notes easily. Do not hurry…! This is especially important for men. You should first practice on the middle voice, then on the bass notes and then on the high notes. Rest assured that reading the high notes will not be overstretched, and in the end you will be left with only the muffled sound. Of course, this is not true for some women who have a low voice. Women who have a low voice usually need to strengthen the notes below them to strengthen the lower notes. Most women who have a low voice have no problem reading the high notes.
Number 4: Have reasonable expectations
You progress to the extent of your knowledge, ability, effort and perseverance. If you do not know anything about singing techniques, do not expect to be able to sing the same way as someone who has been learning all sorts of techniques for years. If you know the technique but your effort and perseverance is only half an hour a week, do not expect your voice to increase over time. To read the above notes, you need continuous, scientific and principled exercises with thought and concentration.
“Talent is more worthless than table salt,” says King Stephen. “What makes a talented person successful is the hard work he puts in.”
Number 5: Warm up your voice before reading
You wake up in the morning, your throat is dry. You do not drink much water. It’s been a few hours since morning and blue has not yet reached your vocal cords. Suddenly you want to read a very difficult piece aloud. Obviously you can not read well and you feel weak and sometimes even itchy in the throat.
Remember that when you sleep, your larynx sleeps with you.
We recommend that you drink two glasses of water half an hour before each time you plan to read. If you do not know the sound warm-up techniques, there is no problem. Start reading slowly with the letter “a”. Do not turn up the volume at first. Read in small volumes. Find the middle notes of your voice and read them slowly and without pressure. After 20 minutes, read the piece you want. Make sure you enjoy your voice more.
Number 6: Open your jaw
In the warm-up exercise, open your mouth as wide as you can with the letter “a”. Keep the upper and lower jaws as far apart as you can. Always imagine while reading that instead of lowering your jaw, you are raising your upper jaw. In fact, get used to reading with your upper jaw. When you want to sing a piece, if you have done what we have said so far, such as breathing properly, etc.… When you come across a note in a piece that you feel is difficult to perform. Try to open your mouth to the end when you reach that note. Do this in front of a mirror. Doing this in front of a mirror allows you to see how open your mouth is. Gradually you will play those notes better.
Number 7: Do not be afraid of high notes
Learning to read high notes is time consuming, but you should not be afraid of high notes. Attack them slowly. Of course, saying that you are not afraid of high notes does not mean that you read these notes many times with force and pressure and without fear. This means that when your breathing exercises are complete, you have warmed up your voice well and performed the techniques told to you on this site and have mastered them. Now you know what to do. do not be scared…! Fear creates a defensive reaction for the body. When you are scared, the muscles contract. As much as you know the technique, fear ruins everything.
