As San Diego moves closer to fall and the weather cools, there are still a lot of new restaurants and bars to look forward to on the calendar. The North Park cidery is planning to extend dramatically on 30th Road with this nearby, almost 6,000-square-foot center point that will empower Bivouac and proprietor Lara Worm to increment juice creation and branch out in a multi-use space that will incorporate a café, a business opportunity for juice and privately obtained arrangements, a juice schooling and tasting bar, an individuals just cognac relax, and a retail shop selling experience themed stuff and gifts. 30th Street, 3980-3982

Opening the Gaslamplighter: This adjacent art deco-styled nightclub and lounge is owned by October Sidebar owner Frankie Sciuto, whose relatives own the legendary karaoke dive the Lamplighter. The glitzy stage will host karaoke on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, with other live performances scheduled in between. A luxurious truffle martini made with vodka washed in olive oil and black truffle salt brine is one of the cocktails created by bar manager Stevie Latona. Wildflour Starter: November: Open Gym’s (White Rice) chef Phillip Esteban will bring a grand new restaurant and delicatessen to Liberty Station. The 4,000-square-foot, modern restaurant and delicatessen will be in the development’s art district. Along with a menu designed for sit-down dining that emphasizes seasonal plates showcasing local produce and seafood paired with natural wine and cocktails, the cafe will offer coffee, sandwiches, baked goods, and cured meats. Normal Hypothesis Public House
Opening: November This winner of Convoy Street will open a 4,500-square-foot restaurant in the Mix at Millenia in Otay Ranch, south of Chula Vista. The team behind the excellent speakeasy Realm of the 52 Remedies will also be bringing new dishes and cocktails to the menu, including salt and pepper wings and a plethora of beer taps. The all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue joint owned by Cris Liang and Joon Lee will open next door as well. It is expected to open in early 2024. 1980 Optima Road.
Hand Opening the Cellar: November: Pali Wine Co., a winery from the Central Coast, is expanding beyond its Little Italy kitchen into San Diego with the opening of its first full-service restaurant in Hillcrest. Expect to find wines from other like-minded producers, a farm-to-table menu that will draw from the nearby Hillcrest Farmers Market, and Mediterranean cuisine within the 3,050-square-foot space designed by local firm Tecscape Design. Opening of Finca: This forthcoming North Park restaurant, bar, and bottle shop will combine Spanish tapas with Californian ingredients in late fall. Even though co-owners Dan Valerino and Joe Bower met at Juniper & Ivy, the 3,030-square-foot Finca will be more casual, with open kitchen and communal seating. The bar will offer all that from wine and mixed drinks to vermouth and sangria while the retail part will zero in on an open assortment of wines created in Spain as well as Spanish varietals filled in the Brilliant State. 3805 Grim Avenue
