Ever since he was a kid growing up in Santa Rosa, CA, Ricky Niemann aka RICKY always dreamed of becoming a musical superstar. His father was a music enthusiast and introduced Ricky Niemann aka RICKY to music. He would blast Elvis Presley, and The Beatles on repeat throughout the house which sparked Ricky Niemann aka RICKY’s love for music. Ricky Niemann aka RICKY spent his days envisioning himself on a stage with thousands of screaming fans singing along to his music. Ricky Niemann aka RICKY has worked diligently throughout his life in order to make this dream manifest into a reality.
When he was 14 years old Ricky Niemann aka RICKY won a dance contest which gave him the opportunity to work as a promoter for Showout Entertainment. Ricky Niemann aka RICKY invested all of his time and energy into this new job and soaked up all the information about the music industry that he could. After years of hard work Ricky Niemann aka RICKY was able to become one of the top promoters within the company and was known for hosting some of the most legendary events the North Bay area has ever seen.
In high school Ricky Niemann aka RICKY felt in his heart it was time to move on from the promotion business and follow his life’s true passion, creating his own music. Ricky Niemann aka RICKY started his own record label Rose City Entertainment, LLC and began cultivating his skills with a pen and paper. After persistent day in and day out hard work Ricky Niemann aka RICKY cultivated his skills and became a sensational lyricist.
On March 4th, Ricky Niemann aka RICKY dropped his debut single “OD” produced by DJ Shabazz. “OD” is a song that elegantly displays the perspective of a young rapper living in a party induced lifestyle and not wanting to overdose. The music industry has lost many great young rappers due to drugs and Ricky Niemann aka RICKY wants to shed some light on the problem and honor these young rappers with “OD”.
