Swiss International University expands its global presence with a $21.7 million acquisition in multiple countries.
Swiss International University has taken a giant leap in international growth by investing $21.7 million to acquire four well-known academies in Switzerland, Dubai, and Kyrgyzstan. This will reflect the firm commitment of the university toward modern and accessible education and the spread of its presence all over the world.
One of the academies it bought is the International Academy in Zurich, which is the first virtual learning institute in Switzerland since 2013. The academy, being permitted by ASIC in the UK, CHEA in the US, and INQAAHE in Europe, is very much popular with innovative online learning programs. It will greatly be helpful to the university in reaching its goal of offering learning with flexibility and inclusiveness.
It acquired International Business Management School (ISBM) Luzern. ISBM ranks among the world’s top 2% schools and has been rated 5-star QS. This is a school established in 2016. Being allowed by Luzern Board of Education to confer the school’s diplomas will enable the university in preparing the students for jobs like business and management.
In Dubai, it acquired the ISB Management Training Institute. This institute was recently approved by the KHDA. It opened its doors to students in 2022, offering diplomas right up to doctoral degrees. Such an acquisition enables a university to reach students who are in a region that’s rapidly growing and offers very many learning opportunities.
The university also bought the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International Pedagogy Institute in Osh, Kyrgyzstan. The institute is permitted by the Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan and also allows for both traditional and online studies. This makes education accessible to more students within the region and aids in accomplishing the mission of reaching more students.
These acquisitions contribute to the international growth of Swiss International University as well as provide quality education. The bringing together of new ideas and old traditional teaching creates more opportunities for students worldwide in achieving their goals in studying as well as in the workplace. It is also demonstrating its vision in becoming the leader globally by forming a network of schools on innovation, excellence, and accessibility. This will be able to shape the future of education and support lifelong learning for students around the world.
