The 2023 New York International Auto Show, the oldest auto show in the country opened at the Jacob Javitz Convention Center in Manhattan this week. In 1900, the show first took place.
The New York Auto Show in 2023 featured enough debuts to keep the media busy, despite the fact that auto shows are frequently regarded as a bygone era tradition.
With approximately 1 million square feet of exhibition space and the highest attendance of any auto show in the country, the show is not only the oldest but also the largest in North America. Millions of prospective car buyers have visited the New York Auto Show, which is widely regarded as the ideal location for conducting research on new automobiles.
An expanded electric vehicle showcase with a multi-brand Electric Vehicle Test Track, where more than 80,000 attendees will be able to test drive an electric vehicle, is a new addition to this year’s show.
The brand-new electric VW Bus, the Ford Bronco, and the first-ever 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray—an all-electric performance vehicle with a 0-60 time of 2.5 seconds—are among the vehicles that experts anticipate will draw the most attention at the show.
The show runs every day from April 7th through April 16th.
